Description

This Baked Brie is a simple yet elegant appetizer featuring creamy Brie cheese wrapped in golden puff pastry with a touch of sweet fruit jam. Perfect for entertaining or special occasions, it’s quick to prepare and always impresses!

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 wheel of Brie cheese (8 oz)
  • 3 tbsp fruit jam (raspberry, apricot, or fig)
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Crackers, bread, or sliced fruit, for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat and Prepare: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Assemble: Roll out the puff pastry slightly and place the Brie in the center. Spread the jam evenly over the Brie. Fold the puff pastry over the cheese, sealing the edges tightly.
  • Brush and Bake: Transfer to the baking sheet and brush the puff pastry with beaten egg. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Cool and Serve: Let the Baked Brie cool for 5-10 minutes before serving. Serve warm with crackers, bread, or sliced fruit.

Notes

  • For extra texture, sprinkle chopped nuts or fresh herbs over the jam before folding the puff pastry.
  • Brie is best served warm but not piping hot to allow the flavors to shine.
